Participation
The Rice Congress is open to all
those who are interested in the development of the rice sector in Africa. Rice
stakeholders from research, development, donor community, civil society, private
sector are especially invited to attend.
To take part in the Congress, interested participants are requested to first
submit an abstract that will be assessed for acceptance by the publication
committee of the Conference.
All
abstracts must be submitted by 30th of April 2006.
Abstracts from North and West Africa should be sent to Dr Lawrence Narteh (ROCARIZ
Coordinator) at
l.narteh@cgiar.org, while those from East and Central Africa are to be sent
to: Dr Ashura Luzi-Kihupi, ECARRN Coordinator at
a.luzi-kihupi@cgiar.org. Authors of abstracts that are accepted will be duly
invited to develop full papers.
