Ex ante impact assessment under imperfect information and uncertainty, agricultural innovation, welfare economics of public policy, partial & general equilibrium modeling, farming & marketing systems, value chain research, & coexistence of agricultural production systems.

Experience:

·      Since May 2007: Agricultural Economist at WARDA. Research on impact assessment of agricultural innovations and public policies, agricultural productivity and value chains (consumer economics and generic advertising of local rice).

·      September 2006 – May 2007: Postdoctoral Research Fellow, K.U.Leuven, research on impact assessment of EU policies on cross-compliance, biotechnology & coexistence (EUWAB).

·      November 2002 – September 2006: Doctoral Research Fellow, K.U.Leuven. PhD research on the economic impact of agricultural biotechnology in the EU (EUWAB).
