Principal use of inland valleys

The inland valleys of Cote d’Ivoire are used for rice, fish and vegetable production as well as for socio-cultural practices. Nowadays, more and more speculation crops are introduced in the inland valleys, like food legumes such as peanuts, cowpeas and soybeans. Even cattle grazing occur in the dry season.
