SUBMISSION OF ABSTRACTS
Interested researchers, policy makers, private sector operators in the rice sector, or NGOs should submit abstracts addressing one or more of the workshop themes. Interdisciplinary papers addressing policy and actions in the rice sub-sector and their resulting impacts at country or regional levels are encouraged.
Abstracts for presentations and posters should be submitted electronically in English or French by
25 July 2005 to p.kormawa@cgiar.org. Use Microsoft Word 97 or higher; Times New Roman font size 11, single-spaced text. The abstract should clearly state objectives, scope, methodology, results, conclusions and any recommendations, and must be between 250-300 words. Paper title must be in Bold, followed by the name(s) of the author(s), with initials preceding the surname. The name of the presenting author must be underlined. The affiliation of all the authors should be included on the line following the authors’ names. Provide e-mail addresses and telephone numbers for the contact author. A selection panel will review all abstracts.
